Switzerland bar blast news: Several people were killed, and others injured in an explosion in a bar in the ski resort of Crans-Montana in Switzerland, BBC reported.
The blast took place at 01:30 local time (00:30 GMT) in the Constellation Bar, the police told the BBC in a statement.
According to BBC, an unverified footage, that has gone viral on social media, showed fire burning at a bar as it celebrated on New Year’s Eve.
A helpline for kin of people affected has already been set up, the police said.
While Swiss news outlet Blick reported the fire may have been caused by the fireworks during a New Years Eve concert, Swiss police said the cause is unknown.
