Kapilvastu, Nepal: An awareness banner has been displayed in Krishnanagar of Kapilvastu, Nepal on the occasion of National Women’s Rights Day. The day was celebrated on Sunday with the slogan “Safety and Rights of Women: Crisis Management is Our Concern”.
The function was organized by Krishnanagar Municipality, Mahila Baal Balika Sakha, Area Police Office Krishnanagar on Sunday.
Nisha Pantha, the District Coordinator of the Information and Counseling Center of the Peace Rehabilitation Center, said that the program was not conducted in the presence of the stakeholders despite the fact that the country was going through a struggle due to the Covid-19 epidemic.
Although the program has been grand every year, this year the third National Women’s Day has been celebrated by displaying awareness banners including the use of all security measures in the border areas of Nepal and India.
