Two-day training on making sanitary pads has started in Sarawal Rural Municipality of West Nawalparasi initiated by Samvad Adolescent network in cooperation of Sarawal Rural municipality and ABC Nepal, Strom Foundation.
The chief guest of the network’s chairman Mahesh Yadav and Sarawal Rural Munnicipality Vice-chairman Uttama Rai, and ward chairman of ward No. 3 Adendranath Rai were the special guest. Vice-chairman Uttama Rai had said that one can even do business by learning the method of sanitary pad manufacture.
Speaking on the occasion, the distinguished guest also thanked ABC Nepal, Strom Foundation for imparting skills to the adolescents by imparting skill training and also developing the feeling that they can use the pads themselves.
Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said that the knowledge, skills and skills related to the pads learned from this training can be used in one’s daily life and sanitary pads are very important in the daily life of adolescents and women.
The program started with the welcome speech of Aisha Khatun, Vice President of Dialogue Adolescent Network. Dilmaya Chaudhary imparted training in the program. Teacher of Mahendra Secondary School Indra Bahadur Chaudhary, Prem Kumari Chaudhary, facilitator Durga B.K. of ABC Nepal were presented. The program was conducted by Sandeep BK, Treasurer of Samvad Adolescents Network.
