Nawalparasi, Nepal: Adolescents have completed a fist donation program in Sarawal Rural Municipality Ward No. 4 of West Nawalparasi, Nepal.
A fist donation program has been conducted by ABC Nepal, Strom Foundation in Sarawal Rural Municipality under the joint project of Kalika Dialogue Center, Balika Samridhi Dialogue Center and Shakti Dialogue Center in collaboration with the locals.
The fist donation program has been organized under the leadership of animators Nitu Pandey, Ayesha Khatun and Lavkesh Harijan.
She said that the money collected through the handful of donation programs and food collection will help the poor and vulnerable families who have been infected and died due to new variant of the second phase of coronavirus.
Nitu Pandey, an animator at Kalika Samvad Kendra, said that the fist donation program was organized with the aim of helping some poor and vulnerable families who lost their lives due to carnage.
The paddy, wheat, and rice collected through the handful of donation programs will help the poor and needy people in their daily life.
Animator Lovekesh Harijan of Shakti Samvad Kendra said that the program was organized to ensure that the children and parents of the destitute families could not survive in the dire situation of the epidemic who are below the poverty line.
Animator Ayesha Khatun said, As the new variant of the Covid-19 has greatly affected the lives of the people, health measurements have been issued by the Government of Nepal, it will help to poor families.
So far, 40 kg of wheat and 60 kg of rice have been collected from the fist donation program. Saida Nisha Pathan, Supervisor of ABC Nepal, said that the campaign is being carried out in collaboration with the youth and the general public at 15 dialogue centers in Sarawal Rural Municiaplity.
