A two-day training on making sanitary pads has started in Palhinandan Rural Municipality of West Nawalparasi under the auspices of Ekta Adolescents Network with the coordination of Palhinandan Rural Municipality and ABC Nepal, Storm Foundation.
Speaking at the training, which was presided over by Sanoj Kumar Dhawal, Chairman of the Network and Om Prakash Gupta, Ward Chairman of Palhinandan Rural Municipality Ward No. 5. Chief Guest Gupta said that the training has developed the skill that can run a business by learning in this training.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhawal said that the knowledge and skills related to the pads making learned from the training could be used in one’s practical life.
The program started with the welcome speech of Surekha Kumari Koiri, a member of the Samvad Adolescent Network. Anchal Kumari Kasusal conducted the training and facilitator of ABC Nepal Rajesh Arya, Sushila Chaudhary including 21 others adolescents were presented.
