Kapilvastu: The handover program of the Rotract Club of Kapilvastu has been completed. Chairman of Rota Year 2020-21 Bikram KC has handed over the post to Shishir Pokharel for Rota Year 021-22.
Handing over the post at Kharendrapar on Friday, KC wished him a successful tenure with suggestions to be active in social work. Presenting the report including the activities during his tenure, KC said that there was positive support from all quarters during this period.
Addressing the handover program, Lumbini Province Assembly member Arjun Kumar KC said that he was satisfied with the work of the Rotary Club. He said that he was working vigorously on the issues of the poor and other youths and suggested working with more energy in the coming days.
KC said that the members of the club should fully invest some of the money they have earned in social services. Similarly, Mayor Netra Raj Adhikari stressed the need for cooperation with the youth to fulfill his resolve to make the city prosperous. Officials praised the club’s work for a diverse community, including the Corona epidemic.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Shiva Kumari Tharu, Bijaynagar Rural Municipality Chairman Gopal Thapa, Rotary Club President Ram Kumar Chhetri, Trade Association Kapilvastu President Mahadev Pokharel, and others expressed their best wishes to the new team. Taking designation of the Rotaract Club Shishir Pokhrel presented his plans for the coming days.
