Nawalparasi, Nepal: An interaction program with problem-based parents has been completed in Hatiban, Ward No. 4, Sarawal Village Municipality, West Nawalparasi, Nepal.
With the financial support of ABC Nepal, Storm Foundation and the fundraising of Pratibha Kishori Kishori Network and the cooperation of Sarawal rural municipality, an interaction program with parents based on the problem was held in Hatiban.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest of the network chairperson Buddha Sagar Gupta and ward member of ward no. 4 Jantira Devi Sahani stated that today’s adolescents have increased negative prescriptive at other positive woks. She said that parents should also be involved in solving such problems.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Gupta said that he and the adolescents have always tried to convert such negative perspectives towards positiveness by raising public awareness.
He also urged the adolescents and parents to work together to reduce child marriage, violence against women as well as to eradicate negative realities such as discrimination and raise public awareness as well.
The program was attended by ABC Nepal facilitator Durga B.K, Janaki Gaud including the mass of 45 parents and teenagers.
