Bardaghat: Orientation program on medium-term expenditure structure and formulation of Bardaghat Municipality of West Nawalparasi under Local Government Empowerment has been completed in Bardaghat on Sunday. The program was organized by the Association of Nepal Municipalities with the support of The Asia Foundation Nepal and facilitated by Rural and Urban Consult.
The program was chaired by Dhiraj Sharma Basyal, Mayor of Bardaghat Municipality. The facilitator and former secretary Dr. Man Bahadur BK, Consultant facilitator Pramod Aryal facilitated the program.
On the occasion, Deputy Chief Maya Devi Poudel, Chief Administrative Officer of Bardaghat Municipality Meghnath Upadhaya, members of the Municipal Executive Committee, heads of various branches of the city, representatives of political parties, and representatives of various organizations were present.
Kalanidhi Devkota, Executive Director of the Association of Municipalities of Nepal, gave a welcome address highlighting the objectives of the program while Pushkar Kafle, Planning Branch Officer of Bardaghat Municipality conducted the program.
