Parents want to take care of their children when they grow up. But it must be said that it is not consistent with it somewhere. Dhanmaya Gurung’s life is connected with this event.
74-year-old Gurung, resident of Kapilvastu Shivraj Municipality-2, Helvadihwa, has lost her life. Sons Basant Gurung and Suraj Gurung have dreams of raising their family including their mother and father by working and earning good income.
Dhanmaya’s 47-year-old eldest son Vasant, who went to India for business, has been living in India with his wife and one child due to paralysis for the past five years.

Similarly, his other 40-year-old younger son, Suraj, has been suffering from kidney failure for three and a half years and is being treated at Gaitambudgh Heart Hospital in Butwal.
His mother Dhanmaya said: “Both sons are fine, one son is in India and the other son was able to take care of the farm at home during treatment at Gaitambudgh Heart Hospital, Butwal.” He added: “There is no ability to treat now.”
She said that even though Dhanmaya herself was suffering from uric acid and rheumatism for a long time, she collected money from the village without eating or drinking. She said that after the financial condition of the family deteriorated, the family got worse. Saying that she has been undergoing treatment till now with the help of friends and others, she did not deny that the treatment has become more complicated.
Both of Dhanmay’s sons are sick and she is also the same, so she is confused as there is no one to cook and feed her. On top of that, her debts are piling up, and she says that she is running away from grief as both her sons, who are considered the pillars of the house, are sick. If someone helped, she would have lived happily in the world for some time – she said.
