Sarawal Rural Municipality of West Nawalparasi, which has been providing free Ayurveda dispensary services for the past 7 years, is now going to provide services from its own building.

With the spirit of providing services free of charge, health services have been restarted with the conditional grant of Sarawal Rural Municipality and the Government of Nepal. According to Santosh Kumar Kahar, Kaviraj Inspector of Manri Ayurveda Dispensary, 25 to 35 people come daily to provide services through free tickets.

The main purpose of the establishment of the organization is to protect healthy people, prevent diseases after illness, out-patient services (OPD services), respect for senior citizens and distribution of medicines, distribution of medicinal herbal medicines for nursing mothers as well as schools, Ayurveda health and yoga service centers, health life in education centers. The style change program is being carried out by the organization.
Sukhadi Prasad Chaudhary, chairman of the village council, has informed that the aim of the organization is to make the Ayurveda dispensary an Ayurveda hospital in the future and also to build a yoga hall in Sarawal Rural Municipality.
According to the organization, the shortage of medicine is increasing as there are 700 to 800 service recipients per month. Also, the service receivers are taking services from Bardghat Municipality, Sunwal Municipality, Ramragram Municipality. It is said that 95 percent of the service users are satisfied with the service. According to the organization, mostly female clients are coming more. It has been providing services for diseases such as joint pain, white discharge, menstrual disorders, lower abdominal pain, acidity, constipation etc. In 7 months of the current financial year, the organization has provided services to 3,118 service recipients.
Similarly, the institution has provided services to 1 lakh, 1 thousand, 63 people from its establishment period from June 2072 to February 2089 in the statistics of Manri Ayurveda Dispensary.
