Dil Kumari Sunar is a physically challenged teacher. Sunar teaches at the Madhunagar Child Development Center in Madhunagar, Vijayanagar rural municipality ward number-1 of Kapilvastu. She says that she has embraced the teaching profession for about 8 years.
Teacher Sunar wakes up early in the morning and finishes her homework. She says that she used to reach the school before 10 in the morning and clean the classroom by herself. Sunar said that she was happy with the students all day long and came home in the evening and took care of the goats in the house. Along with studying, she also taught dancing and singing to the children in the school.
Expressing her happiness that she was able to impart knowledge to the students even though she was physically disabled, she said that her family members helped her to raise her morale. He said that the local government has also played an effective role in this teaching profession. Sunar said: “The path to self-reliance has been opened by evaluating the physically disabled.”
Sunar said that there are currently 25 students in the Child Development Center and children from 4 local villages come. She said that sports, study materials, etc. were provided by the library.
She informed about the assistance provided by Indreni Gramin Vikas Kendra. She said that she raised goats at home because of the help they gave for raising goats to make them more financially prosperous. She said that in her spare time, she also takes care of goats.
Saying that her husband’s physical condition is also weak, teacher Sunar claimed that the relevant agencies played a very good coordinating role. She said that she helped raise 6 children.
Local Shambhu B.K. said that Dilkumari is just an example and others should also learn how to live with respect to such disabled common citizens.
