Distributed to unemployed youths

Sunwal Community Development Center, West Nawalparasi, has distributed healthy goat kids to 10 people of Palhinandan Rural Municipality, Ward No. 6, Langadipakad.

The organization, with the support of United Mission to Nepal and in coordination with Palhinandan Rural Municipality, has distributed healthy goat kids for those returning home from foreign employment.

The program coordinator Radha Sapkota said the program was organized under the Covid- 19 Community Response Program.

Similarly, Krishna Chandra Yadav, Ward Chairman of Palhinandan Rural Munnicipality Ward No. 6 said that the cooperation of all was needed in the fight against Covid-19 and expressed the commitment of all the ward offices to support the positive work.

Speaking on the occasion, Sapna Adhikari Thapa, chairperson of Sunwal Community Development Center, said that the organization needs to venture for livelihood. She urged the farmers to start their own business with a small contribution from the organization and produce more goats. Make 2 from one goat, 2 becomes 4 – she said on the occasion. She also aware people to consult with veterinarians from time to time.

The program was conducted by Umesh B.K with the participation of Shakti Kaushal. The organization has provided goat kids from Jamunapari breed.
