Nepal: A ward office in Kapilvastu has distributed agricultural tools and hand pumps to local farmers. No. 11 of Shivraj Municipality of the district. The ward office Thunhiya has distributed agricultural implements to the farmers in the ward.
According to the ward office, spray tanks were distributed to 31 farmers, bird machines to 35 people and hand pumps to 70 farmers in the ward.
Addressing the program, Shivraj Municipality Agriculture Branch Chief Tara Chand Chaudhary said that it was necessary to modernize the agricultural sector. Chaudhary said that agricultural technology equipment should be given special priority in the coming days. He claimed that production could not be increased unless farmers modernized the agricultural sector without the latest agricultural tools and equipment. He advised the farmers to modernize the agricultural sector by making proper use of agricultural inputs.
Meanwhile, Nepali Congress leaders Prem Bahadur Rayamajhi, Surendra Jaiswal, and others addressing the program said that most of the farmers are self-reliant in the agricultural profession and should invest in the agriculture sector by allocating the necessary budget.
