Teachers in Madarsa’s should be permanent, Nepal News

A memorandum has been given for the management of madrasas and the management of free drinking water in religious places.
Lumbini Province Madrasa Management Committee Vice President Maulana Mashood Khan Nepali and the team gave a memorandum to Water Minister Abdul Khan.

Vice President Mashhood Khan Nepali informed that the Ministry of Water Resources has monitored the places where there is no proper provision of drinking water and has been given a memorandum to arrange free drinking water. He said that there should be free drinking water management in other religious places (temples, mosques, monasteries, vihars, churches, gurudwaras) within Nepal.

President of the National Madrasa Association of Nepal Dr. Abdul Gani Alkoofi made a commitment with Minister Khan that the teachers teaching in Madrasahs should be processed and posts automatically made permanent. He also asked to solve the problem in his own way, stating that the government should increase the amount of annual subsidy given to Madrasahs from 241 thousand to 1 million.

Water Minister Khan says that he is serious about the problem of water supply. It is reported that a team including Vice President Khan, Senior Advisor of National Madrasah Association of Nepal, Meghnath Dhakal, Khatijul Kubra Girls College teacher Abdul Qayyum, Hafi Jullah, drew the attention of Water Minister Khan.
