NawalParasi, Nepal: An interaction program on youth leadership has been completed in Palhinandan rural municipality of western Nawalparasi, Nepal.
An interaction program on youth leadership was conducted with the financial support of ABC Nepal and Storm Foundation and in collaboration with Community FM Radio Parasi.
An interaction program on youth leadership was held under the chairmanship of ABC Nepal Regional Head Manoj Lamichhane and Managing Director of Community Radio Parasi Meghraj Gautam.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Gautam said that it was necessary to take the various development works done by the youths in the rural areas and the contribution made for social change from the local to the national level.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Lamichhane said that the role played by the youths in raising the morale of the youth and curbing the evils such as culture, violence against women, child marriage and trafficking of girls was necessary to spread the message from the local to the national level.
He also said that the Youth Dialogue Program will be conducted through radio based on the activities being carried out for the cause. He also said that the youths have a big role to play in the youth dialogue program for the development of youth leadership and social change.
ABC Nepal’s facilitators Rajman Barai, Sanjit Sharma, Rajesh Arya, Saida Nisa Pathan, program coordinator Sunnar Harijan, accountant Umesh Devkota and 15 youths from Sarawal, Susta and Palhinandan Rural Municipality participated in the program.
