Mask bank established in different part of Nawalpaarsi, Nepal to create public awareness

NawalParasi, Nepal: Mask banks have been established in various localities of West Nawalparasi, Nepal. Mask Bank has been established in Ramgram Municipality, Sunwal Municipality and Sarawal Rural Municiplaity in the second wave of Coronavirus by the Youth Awareness Organization Nawalparasi.

The Mask Bank establishment program has been facilitated by the active youths of Samridhi Social Development Organization Nawalparasi and social worker like  Riaz Ali including youths of Sunwal.

The program has been started by Ramgram Municipality under the chairmanship of Imamul Ali and the chief guest Hon’ble Baijnath Jaiswal and the guests of Ramgram Municipality Ward No. 6 Bidya Sagar Tiwari, Ward No. 2 member Dhiraj Haluwai and Social Worker Tabrez Alam.

The Mask Bank has been set up with the objective of maintaining social distance, inculcating the habit of wearing masks.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Jaiswal said that the second wave of Coronavirus has had a great impact on the general public. He said that the damage caused by the floods on the one hand and the second wave of the Corona on the other has increased the problem of daily life of the common people.

He also said that a mask bank would be set up to save the people from the danger of epidemic and to spread awareness among the people. He said that the masks would be distributed free of cost to the people who do not wear masks and he would work day and night for the welfare and security of the people.

Ali said that the mask bank was set up to raise awareness and spread awareness among the people of Nawalparasi from the Coronavirus in compliance with the ban issued by the Government of Nepal to curb the spread of the virus. He also thanked all the supportive organizations and social workers who helped make the campaign a success, saying that it would help the poor and needy people of the general public.

Ward No. 6 member Tiwari also urged to be aware of  Coronavirus.

The program was facilitated by Sunwal Municipality, Active Youth Parivartan Bhattarai, Vicky Dumre and Sameer. On the other hand, Mahesh Yadav, chairman of Samridhi Social Development Organization Nawalparasi, social activists Riaz Ali, Saifullah Ansari, Sanjay Mishra, Chhotelal Gupta, Zinku Singh, Ghanshyam Chaudhary and others were present.
