Kapilvastu, Nepal: Ward Chairperson of Shivaraj Municipality-3 Teklal Sapkota has handed over a sewing machine to the Hariyali KisorKisori Samvad of Kapilvastu.
Receiving the sewing machine on Wednesday, Sneha Tharu, president of the club, thanked Sapkota and expressed as enthusiastic perform social activities smoothly.
Tharu, president of the Baluhawa Village Club, said that the club has been active in social activities, violence, sanitation and other activities with the special support of KIRDARC Nepal for the past few years.
She said, “We are continuing our studies and engaging in social activities to change the distortions and anomalies in the society.”
Similarly, ward president Sapkota has fulfilled his promise to provide a machine to the club by handing over a program at the ward office on Wednesday.
He said that a sewing machine was provided to the club after deducting it from the service facility received from the municipality.
Handing over the machine to the club, Sapkota said that he and the ward would support if the club came to the ward with a proposal.
Likewise, Indu Tharu, facilitator of KIRDARC Nepal and Storm Foundation, thanked Chairman Sapkota and the ward family as well for their support to the Samvad club.
The facilitator Tharu said that it would bring relief not only to the club but also to the society as a whole.
