Kapilvastu: The construction work of the building of the Central Liaison Office of the Communist Party of Nepal led by Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) has reached the final stage. Construction work of the Central Liaison Office building is underway in Shivgadhi Municipality-9, Shivgadhi of Kapilvastu, the home district of the CPN (Maoist).
Shivgadhi is also known as Mini Rolpa. The CPN (Maoist) has expedited the construction of the central office building to support the development of the region. While other political parties in Nepal have set up the party’s central office in the federal capital Kathmandu, the CPN (Maoist) will set up its party office in Shivgadhi, a remote and backward area.
Amar Jhankri (Sanjeev), in-charge of the office building, public museum, and Martyrs Park construction working committee informed that the construction work of the first floor of the building with central office and assembly hall at a cost of Rs. 1.12M Building construction work of RGL. He also said that the construction company Pvt. Ltd. Shivraj had won the contract. Jhankri, who is also a central member of the CPN (Maoist), said that the office of the CPN (Maoist) was being built with the help of the party’s cash, Jana Pragatisheel Morcha, and people’s labor.
Stating that the office of the CPN (Maoist) is being constructed with facilities including accommodation, he said that the goal is to make the 5-storey office a 3-storey meeting hall. Member Jhankri said that they are preparing to formally inaugurate the office on Falgun 1 as soon as the construction work of the first floor is completed.
Binay Luitel (Pawel), who is also the CPN (Maoist) Kapilvastu District Member and Shivraj Nagar Committee Secretary, said that the party was planning to set up party offices in people’s villages and places with the aim of working for the rights and interests of the people. “We are taking concrete steps so that the people can directly experience what the CPN (Maoist) has done for the Nepali people and what it will do in the days to come,” he said.
The CPN (Maoist) has stated that the party is moving ahead for the establishment of scientific socialism by eradicating corruption, capitalism and the cronyism system of the country.
