Children are always New.
Your child are not your children. They are the sons and daughters of life’s longing itself. They come through you but not from you, and though they are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but are with you yet they belong not to you. You may give them your love but not your thoughts, for they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their soul,You may strive to be like you for life goes not backward not tarries with yesterday.Parents and children are integral part of creation. Human beings continue to exist as long as parents give birth to children. Giving birth alone is not everything. Both the parents and children have duties and responsibilities.
The first duties and responsibilities are to support each other in time of need, children need love and care of parents when they are small. Like wise, the parents need support, love and care of children when they become sick and old. Parents represents the past and children represent the future.
Parents should be free to choose their beautiful future. Parents should play supportive role for children to grow into a new world, new thoughts, and new souls. They can love their children but can not impose old thoughts.
