Nepal, Kapilvastu, a national youth organization close to the CPN (Biplav) leadership, has surrounded the Bijaynagar rural municipality office and staged a protest against the unaccounted amount. According to the CPN (Biplav), a protest was staged on Tuesday against the unaccounted amount made by the local government.
Youth organization Nepal Kapilvastu has besieged the rural municipality over the unaccounted amount taken out by the Auditor General. According to the Auditor General, 4.74% of the total budget of Bijaynagar rural municipality, i.e. Rs. 40.86 million. Addressing the demonstration program, Dhan Bahadur Thapa (analysis), central member of the youth organization Nepal and Lumbini Bureau in-charge, alleged that the unaccounted amount was not made public by the Auditor General at all municipalities and local levels.
He asserted that the parliamentary system had completely failed and that there was no alternative to the establishment of a scientific socialist state system. Stating that no matter how much development has taken place in this parliamentary system, it is inferior. He said that the people should be given the right to choose the system through a referendum by dissolving the parliamentary government and forming a progressive coalition government.
The program was facilitated by Sagar, chairman of the youth organization Nepal Kapilvastu. Also, 155 local youths, social workers, intellectuals, and others were present in the protest.
