Nawalparasi: Relief has been distributed to the flood-affected and poor families in Palhinandan rural municipality. Relief materials have been distributed to the flood-affected and poor families with the financial support of ABC Nepal Strom Foundation and coordination of Palhinandan village and the project of Laligurash Adolescent Network.
Food and sanitary pads were distributed to 40 households as relief under the chairmanship of Network Chairman Vishal Kumar Gautam and Palhinandan Rural Municipality Chairman Baiju Prasad Gupta (Dipak).
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Gupta said that it was difficult for the flood-affected and poor families to make ends meet due to the natural calamity. He also said that food and sanitary pads have been distributed as a relief initiative on his own initiative with the help of ABC Nepal Strom Foundation.
He also thanked the entire team of ABC Nepal and the adolescents for helping the flood-affected and poor families in such a difficult situation.
Distributing relief in the joint presence of Kriti Thapa and adolescents of ABC Nepal, each household received 50 kg of cumin, 2.5 kg of lentils, 2 kg of chickpeas, 2 liters of cooking oil, 2 kg of salt, and 5 kg of sanitary pads per household. The materials were distributed to 40 households. The program was conducted by Rajesh Arya, Supervisor, ABC Nepal.
