According to Kapilvastu, the land rights forum has demanded to make the structure of the commission independent and capable by encouraging the implementation of the plan and budget targeted at the local level and the state government in favor of landless, Dalits, landless, and squatters in the current fiscal year.

In the meanwhile, even after filling the form many times, there was a great hope of getting the red card now. However, the locals of Buddhabhumi Municipality- 3 complained that the government’s decision has inflicted heavy losses on the squatters. They also said, “Doesn’t the coalition government need a squatter vote?”

The government led by former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had formed a commission to distribute land to landless Dalits and squatters. But the current coalition government has decided to dismiss the commission on August 3.
