How to identify flu and coronavirus?

Doctors have urged seasonal flu patients to be on high alert as there is a risk of corona virus infection.

Doctors have urged the patients suffering from seasonal flu symptoms to stay at home after receiving treatment at home as there is a risk of covid-19 infection in the hospital.

At present, the ICU beds in every hospital are full of covid-19 patients. Physicians suggested to stay safe at home if flu symptoms appear with climate change.

As the symptoms of corona and seasonal flu are similar, it is difficult to distinguish some of them.

According to doctors, there is no need to be scared as there is a common cold, body aches and sore throat.

Under normal circumstances, taking paracetamol, using vitamins B and C as advised by the doctor, the seasonal flu will be cured within a week to ten days.

Doctor urged the people to be vigilant as there is a possibility of coming to the hospital with a common cold and carrying the virus.

Doctor also urged to come to the hospital if there are any symptoms like seasonal flu, difficulty in breathing, severe body aches, sweating, fever does not go away even after taking medicine, and high fever.

They said that the government and the citizens have strictly adhered to the standards of health security in the initial stage of the crackdown in Nepal but it has not happened in the current situation.

“Even if people with the immune system win the corona in a few weeks, the number of deaths of the chronically ill, children and the elderly is on the rise,”.  Doctor expressed concern over the increasing number of patients with complex conditions in the current situation.
