No one is there to understand the pain of Farmers hence memorandum is handed over to the District Administrative officer, The Horizon Times

Nawalparasi: The farmers have handed over a memorandum to the Chief District Officer demanding three points at the District Administration Office, Pakshim Nawalparasi.

The wave of farmers started a strong rally at Parasi organized by Nawalparasi Flood Control Coordinating Committee and Nawalparasi Youth Society by circling Buddha Chowk has handed the memorandum to the District Administration Office, The three points are (1) Urgent flood control measures to be implemented, (2) Loan of flood victims interest rate should be minimized, and (3) Demanding compensation for the destroyed crops.

Thousands of farmers including Sarawal, Pratappur, and Palhinandan have been drowning every year for the last 60 years. Chairman of Nawalparasi Youth Society Dharmendra Giri has handed the memorandum to the District Administrative officer Dharmendra Kumar Mishra.
