Kapilvastu, Nepal: The second session and meeting hall of Samaythan Multple Campus has been inaugurated on Saturday. A nine-member working committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Dilliraj Bhushal.
Vice President Santosi Pandey and Ishwori Pandey, Balaram Marasini, Kapil Dev Khanal, Thaneshwar Khanal, Jeet Bahadur Raut, Bishnu Khanal and Prabhu Yadav have been elected as members.
Similarly, a three-member accounting committee has been formed. Chet Narayan Khanal and Sarada Aryal have been elected as the members of the committee. Similarly, a four-member advisory committee has been formed.
Ram Bahadur Raimajhi, Krishna Kumar Chaudhary and Rabi Poudel have been selected under the coordination of Prem Bahadur Raimajhi.
Meanwhile, Lumbini Province Assembly member Arjun Kumar K.C inaugurated the conference hall of the campus and said that the leaders, industrialists, traders, associations and the general public should play a positive role in operating the two campuses within the Shivraj Municipality.
Stating that other developments cannot be imagined without the development of education, he said that both the campuses have to work hard for quality education.
Member K.C said that the two campuses should not compete unhealthily but should be supportive of each other. Member K.C also expressed his commitment to take initiative to bring buses to make the movement of students easier next year.
Similarly, Jamser Ali Miya, president and central member of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chandrauta, said that there should be emphasis on quality in education.
Chairman Miya said that the number of students studying accounting should be increased as there are many industries in the region.
Miya said that most of the manpower in the industries had to be brought in from outside to work in the accounting department.
On the occasion, CPN-Shivraj Nagar Committee Chairman Dinesh Pun stressed on the need to operate the campus in such a way that students from the region would not have to go out as the number of students would be reduced if quality education is not maintained.
Similarly, Nepali Congress youth leader Ajay Thapa said that everyone should help for quality and effective education as most of the students in the region goes abroad.
The program was presided over by Dilliraj Bhushal, President of Samayathan Multiple Campus, Arjun Kumar K.C Member of Lumbini Province Assembly, Teklal Sapkota Chairman of Shivraj Municipality Ward No. 3, Principle Giri Raj Gaire of Samayathan Secondary School, Jagat Poudel, Senior Vice President of Kapilvastu Business Assembly.
The program was conducted by Ishwori Pandey, Senior Vice President of Chamber of commerce Chandrauta, Krishna Kumar Chaudhary, Representative of JSP, Principal Ghanshyam Chaudhary of Tribhuvan Secondary School, Women Leader Santoshi Pandey and Campus Chief Namdev Khanal.
