NawalParasi, Nepal: Stage play violence against women has been completed in Lalitpur, Ward No. 4 of Sarawal Rural Municipality of West Nawalparasi, Nepal.
A stage play program violence against women was held in Lalitpur with the financial support of ABC Nepal, Strom Foundation, and Sarawal Ruural Municipality.
A stage play program violence against women was held under the chairmanship of SST Chairman of Shakti Samvad Kendra Salim Rai and the chief guest of Ward Chairman of Sarawal Rural Municipality Ward No. 4 Chotelal Yadav.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Yadav said that the Government of Nepal has given 33 percent rights to women.
However, our society and some people in the society are still not recognized. Due to which there is violence against women in the community.
He said that it was necessary to raise public awareness in the community to reduce violence against women. He also said that all of us should work together to end violence against women.
He also thanked the organizing team and all the supportive hands for organizing the program
The program started with the welcome speech of Ayesha Khatun. Among the guests were ward member of ward no. 4 Jantira Sahani, Gobrahiya police check, Sergeant Lok Bahadur Thapa, Judicial concern organization Deputy-Chief Riyajuddin Rain and Chairman of Pratibha Kishor Kishori Sanjaal Buddha Sagar were presented.
