Kapilvastu, Nepal: The work done by the toll development organizations established under Shivaraj Municipality of Kapilvastu has been monitored.
The financial assistance provided to the school by KIRDARC Nepal and Storm Foundation through the Toll Development Organization has monitored the condition of education of two schools in Shivaraj Municipality-1 of the district.
Indu Tharu, community facilitator of Storm Foundation informed that the monitoring work has been completed at Saraswati Basic and Gyanjyoti Basic Schools.
She said that the quality of education, school environment, toilets, number of students, condition of teachers and other arrangements have been monitored and their investment has not been utilized.
Facilitator Tharu said that parents and social leaders need to think about the future of the students.
Amar Budha Magar, chairman of Shivpur Toll Development Association, said that while monitoring two schools two students dropped out of school last year.
He said that the objective was to solve the problems ignored during the monitoring of the school and to minimize the distortions and anomalies that are growing day by day in the society.
Stating that every sector of development including school and toll education will be continuously promoted in the near future, there is also a plan to make it self-sufficient financially, said Chairman Magar.
The monitoring program was attended by Amar Budha Magar, Chairman of Shivpur Toll Development Organization, Indu Tharu, Community Facilitator of KIRDARC Nepal and Storm Foundation, Chhand Bahadur G.C, Pushparaj Adhikari, media persons, school principals and officials of the Management Committee.
