Nawalparasi: A street drama program against drug abuse has been completed. A street drama program against drug abuse was held at Palhinandan-3 Kushma with the financial support of ABC Nepal, Strom Foundation, and coordination of Palhinandan rural municipality and the project of Jai Jai Kishori Samvad Kendra.
A street drama program against drug abuse was held under the chairmanship of Nirma Harijan, animator of the dialogue center and Maya Devi Harijan, a member of the dialogue support committee.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Harijan said, “We understand the personalization of a rural area and it is necessary to take action against those who are consuming and allowing drugs to grow in the community.” He stressed the need to put a stop to the sale and distribution of various distilleries and liquor shops in the community and also to create awareness among the people through public awareness programs. And in particular, we all need to warn our children and ourselves not to take drugs.
Supervisor of ABC Nepal Bishnu Pariyar, journalist Suresh Yadav, journalist Mahesh Yadav, and social worker Vishal Harijan also spoke on the occasion.
