As child marriage is serious disease in rural side of Nepal, street drama is exhibited to create awareness

Nawalparasi: A street drama program against child marriage has been completed in Sarawal Rural Municiplaity, Ward No. 6, Pusaili of West Nawalparasi, Nepal.

A street drama program against child marriage has been completed with the financial support of ABC Nepal Strom Foundation and coordination cooperation of Sarawal rural municipality and the project of Muskan Samvad Kendra Pusauli.

A street drama program against child marriage was held under the chairmanship of Sarita Devi Kahar, a member of the Dialogue Support Committee and Kailash Yadav, Ward Chairperson of Ward No. 6.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Guest Yadav said that child marriage is a legal crime. Also, after having child marriage at an early age, it seems that there are various problems and challenges. He also thanked the donor organization for giving education to the children.

The program was attended by social worker Rajendra Prasad Kurmi, ABC Nepal Supervisor Saida Nisa Pathan, journalist Mahesh Yadav, local residents, and playwrights.
