Consultation program on livelihood planning for adolescents by ABC Nepal

Nawalparasi: A counseling program on livelihood planning for adolescents has been completed in West Nawalparasi, Nepal. With the support of the Strome Foundation and ABC Nepal’s project, a counseling program has been conducted for the adolescents in Palhinandan, Sarawal and Susta of Nawalparasi district.

Speaking at the program chaired by Manoj Lamichhane, Regional Head of ABC Nepal, Lamichhane said that the counseling program was conducted to realize the dreams of the adolescents and to provide them complete information on what should be done and how to achieve their goals. He said that counseling was given to fulfill the dream. He also said that ABC Nepal would also help in realizing the dreams of teenagers.

Speaking on the occasion, Laxminath Gyawali, a senior journalist and a trainer who has gained experience by working in various organizations, said that he has succeeded in fulfilling her dream by informing various problems and challenges. He explained the various tasks that need to be done to achieve the goals set by the adolescents. He also said that adolescents should work patiently to fulfill their dreams.

Manita Dhakal, a volunteer of ABC Nepal, and Mahesh Yadav, a journalist, who had succeeded in fulfilling their dreams, shared various tasks and problems to fulfill their dreams. He also told how he fulfilled his dream and what obstacles and challenges he faced. ABC Nepal volunteer Manita Dhakal and journalist Mahesh Yadav said that they are fulfilling their dreams and doing various other works today. Manita Dhakal and Mahesh Yadav also said that they are cooperating with the elders of ABC Nepal.

The program was attended by ABC Nepal Supervisors Rajman Barai, Rajesh Arya, Vishnu Pariyar, Sanjit Sharma, Kriti Thapa, Accountant Umesh Devkota, Volunteer Janaki Gaud, Durga B.K, Puja Gautam, Bina Gaha Magar, Bandana Chaudhary, Surekha Maurya and other teenagers.
