Chandrauta: Telephone service has been disrupted in Kapilvastu Shivaraj Municipality-5, Chandrauta when Nepal Telecom’s fiber was cut. Telephone service has been disrupted in Chandrauta since 8 pm on Wednesday due to the negligence of NCL’s vendor company.
Santosh Kumar Gupta, chief of the Telecommunication Office, Chandrauta, said that the work of the NCL was objectionable, saying that the service recipients were affected due to cutting the fiber at 8 pm without any notice. According to Chief Gupta, telephone, mobile, and internet services from Gorusinge, Chandrauta, Bahadurganj, Krishnanagar, Shivpur, and Dhankhola to Lamahi of Dang have been disrupted.
Engineer Laxman Belbase said that the service will continue till Friday due to the work being done in Chandrauta. Since NCL’s vendor company has stated that the telecom’s fiber was suddenly cut while searching for its cable.
