Kapilvastu, Nepal: There are many cases of elected representatives indulging in their own interests. Promises made with the common people are forgotten after being elected. However, Mankari Ward Chairman of Kapilvastu’s Shivaraj Municipality, Ward no. 3, Teklal Sapkota has been continuously applying ointment on the wounds of the people.
He has been investing in the common people by dividing the services provided by the government. Just a few days ago, Bhikhu Tharu of Shivraj Municipality-3, Bhitaria passed away suddenly.
It is understood that the Tharu family, who make a living by earning daily wages, is now in trouble as they do not even have the money to perform rituals.
He said that Ward Chairman Sapkota had provided relief to the families of the victims who were left helpless after the death of their husbands and children. The ward chairperson reached the house of the victim’s family on Thursday and provided cash assistance of NRs 5,100 to the needy family.
The very poor families who have been making a living by earning wages are in dire straits as there are no earners.
After the ward chairperson helped the Tharu family, who have been earning a living by doing daily labor and household expenses, local Nakhai Tharu thanked the chairperson.
According to family sources, the deceased has three children and five members including his wife and mother.
Ward Chairperson Sapkota said that the assistance was provided to the victim’s family for relief. He said that he personally helped the victim’s family.
Ward Chairperson Sapkota informed that he has been providing financial assistance and other works to the troubled towns and citizens.
