Kapilvastu, Nepal: A foundation stone of a public health service center has been laid at Baniyabhar, Shivaraj Municipality-9 of Kapilvastu. CPN General Secretary Netra Bikram Chand (Biplav) laid the foundation stone of the building in the home district on Tuesday.
Addressing the groundbreaking ceremony, he said that it has been given priority to the center building considering the health of the infected as the risk of the second wave of the coronavirus is increasing.
He also expressed his commitment to take initiative with the government to further expand the public health service center and provide quality services in an effective manner.
He said that the public health service center will provide quality health care to the citizens in the long run. Biplav stressed the need to expand it as a well-equipped hospital in time.
Stating that defeating the Coronavirus epidemic is a humanitarian duty, he stressed the need to take care of the health of the common man.
In this difficult situation, the revolution also urged the common people to be vigilant in fulfilling the responsibility of playing an important role from their respective places.
Yadav Chand, chairman of the building construction committee of the Public Health Service Center, said that the building was being constructed by the Communist Party of Nepal at its own cost of Rs 6.3 million.
Chairman Chand informed that the construction work of the center building will be completed within a month.
