Kathmandu, Nepal: This year’s CAN Infotech will be launched from 11th of May, 2021.
At a press conference on Sunday, the Commuter Association of Nepal Federation (CAN) informed about the fair. The fair will be held at Bhrikuti Mandap in Kathmandu from 11th -16th May 2021.
Due to the Covid-19 carnage, the fair is being organized almost 3 months later as compared to last year. Though it is late, it is expected to have large mass. The organizers will follow all the health vigilance as the risk of Covid-19 epidemic has not been reduced.
This is the 27th edition of CAN Infotech, which is being organized annually in Nepal on information technology. CAN have also been hosting national and international information technology conferences for the past 20 years.
About 300,000 people are expected to visit the fair this year.
The organizers have stated that the CAN fair entry tickets will be made paperless this year.
The entrance fee is NRs 100 for general public and NRs 50 for students. According to the organizers, free admission will be given to government and community educational institutions on the basis of letters.
