London: Helen McCrory, who appeared in the Harry Potter films and the Peaky Blinders tv series, expired on Friday after a fight with cancer, according to her husband Damian Lewis. She was 52 years old at the time.
“I’m absolutely devastated to report that Helen McCrory, the magnificent and majestic woman who was Helen McCrory, passed away peacefully at home, embraced by a stream of affection from friends and relatives, after an incredible fight with cancer.”
“She died the same way she worked. Without fear. We adored her and realise how fortunate we were to have her in our worlds. She shone like a diamond. Fly high into the sky now, Little One, and thank you.”
