Kapilvastu, Nepal: The Chamber of Commerce Kapilvastu has organized a one-day open blood donation program. Chairman Mahadev Pokheral informed that 65 people donated blood in the program held at the association’s meeting hall on Monday.
The chief guest of the blood donation program praised the Mayor of Shivraj Municipality Netra Raj Adhikari for his continuous humanitarian and social work since its inception. He said that he has helped many Nepalis to save their lives by organizing blood donation programs at different times and urged them to do social work in the days to come.
Pokheral, the president of the association, thanked everyone for their blood donation. He urged everyone to donate blood as a packet of blood can save someone’s life in a dire situation.
The program was conducted with the technical assistance of Butwal Blood Transfusion Center with the support of Shivaraj Municipality, Bijaynagar Municipality, Maharajganj Municipality and KIRDARC Nepal.
