Nawalparasi: According to Devendra Raj Kandel, Member of Parliament, various schemes have been put forward to develop West Nawalparasi, Nepal, known as the eastern district of Lumbini province, as a prosperous district.
Inaugurating the multi-purpose meeting hall of the newly constructed conference hall at Sarawal-2, Jawa in West Nawalparasi on Sunday, Kandel, who is also the former Minister of State for Home Affairs, said that it would be easy to hold various programs, meetings, seminars, and functions in the conference hall with modern facilities.
He said that West Nawalparasi could be established as a model district with the cooperation of all.
Speaking as the special guest at the program presided over by Narendra Prasad Chaudhary, Chairman of Kolbriksha Tourism Development Association and Devendra Raj Kandel, Member of the House of Representatives, Chairman of Sarawal Rural Municiplaity Radheshyam Chaudhary stated to convert the Jawa area to a tourist spot.
Syangja District Constituent Assembly Member Shankar Pandey, Nepali Congress Central Member Mohan Prasad Sharma, Central Education Department Member Radheshyam Pathak, Sarawal Rural Municipality Vice President Uttama Rai, Adivaasi Janajati District President Devraj Chaudhary, Nepali Congress District Member Devraj Bhandari, Chief Administrative Officer of Sarawal Rural Municipality Buddha Prakash Poudel, Nepali Congress Sarawal Rural Municipality President Binod Kumar Pandey were present.
Weightlifter Raju Chaudhary was honored on the occasion. Under the newly constructed local infrastructure development partnership program in Jawa, the construction work of the building was completed at a total cost of Rs. 11.5 million as per Uttama Ray.
