Nepal: Sanitary pads have been handed over at Kapilvastu’s Samayathan Multiple Campus. In Shivraj Municipality Ward no. 4 Sanitary pads were handed over at the campus in Kharendrapur on Wednesday, according to the organizers.
Keshav Gaire, chairperson of the committee informed that 360 sanitary pads have been distributed to the students studying on the campus on the initiative of Municipality Deputy Chief Shiva Kumari Tharu.
Addressing the program, Deputy Chief Tharu said that the pads were handed over keeping in view the problems of female students in the epidemic. She said that the sanitary pads were distributed to the students so that there would be no problem in their studies due to menstruation. Deputy Chief Tharu said that the campus committee would play an important role in solving various problems faced by the students in the school.
A 21-member committee has been formed under the coordination of Sangita Gupta to get them handed over pad easily. Earlier, pads were also distributed at Nepal Ardash Multiple Campus in Shivpur.
