Kapilvastu, Nepal: Janata Samajwadi Party has held a demonstration and protest rally at Chandrauta Chowk, Shivaraj-5 of Kapilvastu. A protest rally was organized on Wednesday against the unconstitutional, undemocratic and regressive move of the K.P Oli government, said Kapilvastu District Chairman Kailash Agrahari.
Addressing the program, Central Executive Member of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal and former Agriculture Minister Akbal Ahmed Shah accused the Oli government of pushing the country towards backwardness. Now let’s remove KP and save the country instead demanding for king,” he said.
Former Agriculture Minister Shah also warned that the Oli government, which has been frustrating the rights of the indigenous tribes and the Muslims Madhesi community. He warned that Oli government has short life.
He said that the Nepali people are strongly protesting against the unconstitutional and undemocratic move of K.P Oli. Former Minister Shah said that the country would get a way out only if the current Prime Minister, who is ruling the country more cruelly than the then King, must be removed from country.
JSP central executive member Amrita Agrahari has said that the country has fallen into a quagmire due to the dictatorial prime minister’s move. Member Agrahari accused K.P Oli of being involved in the politics of chair and position rather than the rights of the country and the people.
At the same function, Lumbini state president Ashok Yadav urged Prime Minister Oli against the unconstitutional and undemocratic move.
Addressing the same meeting, Central Member Ravi Dutta Mishra accused the Prime Minister KP Oli’s government of taking care of its own cadres and also criticized the Oli government.
At the program, JSP state member and youth leader Rahish Shah said that the current government has neglected the rights of the indigenous Tharus.
He also said that forcing Reshmalal Chaudhary, who won with the highest number of votes is compelled to spend his life in jail is the most undemocratic step of the Oli-led government.
Shah said that the government should protect the corrupt instead torture the innocent.
