Due to outrage lockdown in Malaysia added two more weeks

Malaysia: Malaysia, the destination country where a large number of Nepali workers are working for their livelihood, is going to extend the lockdown time by two more weeks.

Malaysia has decided to extend the lockdown from 15th June to 28th June. Malaysia’s earlier deadline of lockdown is ending on June 14. Malaysia’s senior minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, said on Friday that the corona infection rate had not decreased and that the current lockdown would be extended for another two weeks.

At present, more than 5,000 infected people are being added daily basis in Malaysia. Covid-19 infection was confirmed in 6,871 people on Thursday alone. Malaysia has banned economic and social activities except for essentials during the lockdown.
