Kapilvastu: 50 T-shirts and 1 speaker sound have been handed over to Rise Nepal Youth Club of Vijayanagar Rural Municipality-2 of Kapilvastu, Loharaula. Nepal Tarun Dal District Committee Kapilvastu handed over the club president Nabin Chaudhary.
Addressing the handover program, Nepali Congress District President and former Minister of State for Irrigation Surendra Raj Acharya expressed his commitment to providing necessary assistance including social activities. Stating that he is committed to the service of the common people, he mentioned cooperating once the disaster strikes.
He said that not only T-shirts but also social work will help in every way. He said that the Tharu community has a majority in the program and an attempt has been made to understand the problems at the local level by speaking in Tharu language. Acharya also urged the youths to join hands with the Nepali Congress.
Likewise, Rise Nepal Club President Nabin Chaudhary thanked the club for handing over the t-shirt and said that the club has become more active and committed to play a significant role in social activities.
Stating that they were compelled not to shrink due to lack of opportunity to present sports and arts in the club, he informed that they will be aware of it and move forward in collaboration with the youth team.
In the program, Nepali Congress Lumbini Pradesh Sabha member Rina Nepal, Nepali Congress Constituency No. 3 (a) President Govind KC, Nepali Congress District Secretary Prem Raimajhi, Nepali Congress Shivraj Municipal Chairman Madhu Pokharel, and Nepal Tarun Dal Shivraj Municipal Chairman YP Poudel also spoke on the occasion.
