Nawalparasi, Nepal: Agricultural equipment has been distributed in Sarawal rural municipality of West Nawalparasi, Nepal.
The Sarawal rural municipality has distributed 50% subsidy to the farmers.
The rural municipality has distributed agricultural equipment to make it easier for the farmers to work in agriculture and to modernize as well.
As per the plan to distribute 22 pump sets and 45 motors under the annual program plan of the rural municipality, 8 pump sets and 26 motors were distributed in the first phase on Tuesday.
And in the next few days, more equipment will be distributed, said Kuldeep Mishra, chief of the agriculture branch.
Stating that 50% subsidy has been distributed to the farmers to make them aware and self-reliant in the agricultural sector, said rural municipality Chairman Radheshyam Chaudhary.
As per the plan of the current annual program of Sarawal rural municipality, 50% subsidy on agricultural equipment has been distributed to the farmers, and 50% subsidy for farmers under the Chief Minister’s Rural Development and Employment Program of the provincial government has been distributed.
