Kapilvastu, Nepal: The Chamber of Commerce Kapilvastu has welcomed Chief District Officer Chakrapani Pandey who has been transferred from Udayapur to Kapilvastu.
Welcome and congratulations were given at the commerce building at Chandrauta, Shivaraj-5 of the district.
Addressing the reception program, Chief District Officer Pandey expressed his commitment to work for peace and security and work for the solution of the problem.
Pandey expressed confidence and said it will be able to move forward by considering the suggestions of all.
He said that not only the administration but also the local government, people’s representatives, government bodies and non-governmental bodies need to lend a helping hand. Analyzing the facts, Pandey said that the security forces should be mobilized by formulating an integrated strategy.
Similarly, Mahadev Pokhrel, president of Kapilvastu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, suggested Pandey to provide a conducive environment to traders by ending the smuggling of smugglers.
He said that it is necessary to maintain peace and security if not it would be difficult for trade and business.
Speakers at the event included Bishnu Prasad Khatiwada, Coordinator of Human Rights Foundation Kapilvastu, Jagat Poudel, Senior Vice President of Kapilvastu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed confidence that peace and security along with the traders would be taken into consideration.
